Rainbow Dash Hair Attempt

Just so you know........ i might be doing hair tutorials sooooon
Because 1, they're fun 2, it's cool & 3, they're freaking ponies!!!

So I stole borrowed =silverskystrike Rainbow Dash because the hair was horrendous. & this is how it turned out... kinda. i forgot to take a final picture before i gave it back

basically, all i did was split the orange part of the mane in half & pull the orange & red to be the bangs. Then i trimmed a bit of the bangs before getting her mane wet. after i did, i cut a bit more off from her bangs & the other part of the mane. i didn't mess with the tail because i just didnt. i wraped a rubberband around her to keep her bangs in place. To dry her, i don't have a desk lamp, so i used my heater & i used a flashlight to slightly curl her tail. That's really it.

The first two picture at the bottom are what she looked like after the first attempt (all the pictures above) as you can see, the bangs are too long so that last picture was when i cut her bangs a bit shorter. they're still a bit long, but i was too scared to cut it any shorter

considering that this was the first time i've ever done this, well actually, i cut up the hair on all my Barbies, anyway, the first real time i've done this, i don't think it turned out too bad. i'll probably fix it a bit later

that's all i really feel like explaining right now

I do have a Pinkie Pie that i want to style, but i need to find something to use as curlers first. probably straws, but i dont have any... anywayyy... so.. i'll probably have a real tutorial for this... soon? most likely.

Time
-3ish hours to cut because i kept getting distracted
-overnight to dry

Materials
-hair scissors or manicure scissors. any kind of small, sharp scissors will work
-hair tie/ rubber band (you dont have to use this)
-desk lamp not an LED one because they don't heat up well. or you can use a space heater like me. JUST BE VERY CAREFUL! you dont want to end up with a melted pony.
-toothbrush as a hairbrush, or you can use the comp that came with you pony, if one came with it
